Morning Song – Party Up (Up In Here)

This little blog can’t overlook the death last week of that longstanding and deeply respected prince of the realm—DMX. (What? You though we cared about some other prince? Sorry, wrong blog for that.)

DMX lived a life of pain and suffering. For as much as people have (rightfully) are mourning that he was only 50 when he died, it’s more astonishing that he lived past age 5, much less 25.

We’ll send him home with his 2000 dance anthem, “Party Up (Up In Here)”, which is—appropriately—one of the hardest, nastiest dance songs ever. (Yes, of course it’s NSFW. Even though it’s the “clean” video. It’s DMX and that’s the life he lived.)
