Morning Song – Ain’t No Other Man
Christina Aguilera’s wildly catholic musical tastes are on full display in “Ain’t No Other Man”. The look and feel is straight out of 1930s and 40s hot jazz; the horn and vocal samples are from 1960s and 70s funk and soul; and the production is filled with early 21st century club and hip-hop beats and flourishes. It could be a musical trainwreck, but instead it’s a glorious mish-mash of styles and influences.
Do your thang, honey!
