Morning Song – Car Wash

February 28, 2017

Some people write lengthy and learned dissertations on alienation and agency among the working-class at work as expressed through the intersectional social constructs of race, class and gender identity in late-industrial capitalist society.

Norman Whitfield won a Grammy for writing and producing “Car Wash”, which Rose Royce took to #1 on the pop charts in the winter of 1977.

It amounts to pretty much the same thing…but you can only dance to one of them.

(Choose wisely.)
