Morning Song – I’m Alright

February 17, 2016

“I’m Alright” launched Kenny Loggins’ 1980s career as “King Of The Movie Soundtracks” and he didn’t take any chances with it.  Loggins plundered at least half a dozen musical genres, and utilized every available studio production technique to create a ridiculously catchy song for a ridiculously popular movie.  And for purists dismayed by his “corporate sellout”, Loggins had the perfect refrain:

I’m alright,
Don’t nobody worry ’bout me;
You got to gimme a fight?
Why don’t you just let me be?
