What Teachers Make

April 19, 2012

I see I’m a couple of weeks late to the Taylor-Mali-hair-shearing party.  Twelve years ago, Mali set a goal of inspiring 1,000 people to become teachers—and decided he wouldn’t cut his hair until he reached that goal.

Goal reached, hair cut, proceeds to wigs for children undergoing cancer treatment.

Also, new poetry collection, What Teachers Make: In Praise Of The Greatest Job In The World, on sale.

For “What Teachers Make”, see after the jump.
